New Visions provides continuing education and therapy services to professionals and parents working with infants and children with feeding, swallowing, oral-motor, and pre-speech problems.
CLINICAL SERVICES
New Visions provides clinical service support to families who want to understand the foundation of family-oriented evaluation and therapy programs for their infants and children. Suzanne Evans Morris, Ph.D., (speech-language pathologist) has extensive experience working with:

children with mild, moderate, or severe movement limitations

children with oral-motor difficulties

children with oral feeding difficulties

children with reflux and other gastrointestinal difficulties

children who are fed by tube feedings

children who refuse to eat or are picky eaters
The Mealtime Partners Program is New Visions' core clinical program. Clinical consultations are available to parents and therapists who have attended the Mealtime Partners workshop, "On Becoming a Mealtime Partner".
CLINICAL CONSULTATION
PHONE CONSULTATIONS
Telephone consultations with Suzanne Evans Morris, Ph.D. are available to professionals and parents who have taken the workshop "Becoming a Mealtime Partner" or have completed a prior Video Consultation. Follow-Up Phone Consultations can be scheduled as needed by the parent or professional. Because of Suzanne Morris' schedule, consultations may not be available every month.
Telephone consultations are scheduled ahead of time for a 60-minute period. Billing will include actual telephone time, preparation time and a follow-up e-mail.
VIDEO CONSULTATIONS
Video consultations with Suzanne Evans Morris, Ph.D. are available to professionals and parents who desire a more in-depth understanding of their child's feeding challenges. The Video Consultation is a prerequisite for a Phone Consultation. An initial e-mail or brief telephone call is provided at no charge to define the focus of the consultation and specific questions that the parent or professional wishes to address. The child's family sends Suzanne Morris detailed information about the child's current feeding and mealtime abilities and challenges. This includes a 30-minute video, two detailed questionnaires and a list of specific concerns and questions. Suzanne Evans Morris spends approximately 2 hours reviewing this material and developing a series of suggestions that will support the specific needs of the child and family. A one-hour Telephone or Teletherapy Feedback Consultation is scheduled with Suzanne Evans Morris to discuss her observations and recommendations. Billing includes time spent reviewing all materials, creating a series of recommendations developed with the family, and a 1-hour telephone or telepractice consultation.
TELEPRACTICE SESSION
A New Visions Teletherapy Session is defined as an online delivery of clinical observations, therapy services and parent coaching in the areas of mealtime, feeding and pre-speech development. Sessions are held in the child’s home and the therapist’s office, using live videoconferencing. The therapist, child and family can interact through the use of computers and a high speed Internet connection. A Video Consultation is a prerequisite for the initial Teletherapy session.
FEEDING EVALUATION AND THERAPY
The clinical evaluation of a child's feeding and mealtime skills from Suzanne Evans Morris, Ph.D. is primarily available to parents who have taken the workshop "Becoming a Mealtime Partner". The family sends Suzanne Morris detailed information about their child’s current feeding and mealtime abilities and challenges. This includes a 30-minute video, two detailed questionnaires and a list of specific concerns and questions. Evaluation and therapy sessions are held at the New Visions House, southwest of Charlottesville VA. These in-person sessions are currently postponed until after the COVID-19 pandemic has reached a level when major health precautions are no longer needed.

Phone Consultation (1 hour): $150
Video Consultation (3 hours): $400
Teletherapy Consultation (1 hour) $150 per hour
Feeding Evaluation: $180 per hour
Feeding Therapy: $150 per hour
Fees are applicable through 2021.
