MUSIC AND HEMI-SYNC(™)
IN THE TREATMENT OF CHILDREN WITH DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES

The success of programs for children with physical, communicative, and cognitive handicaps depends upon the learning environment created by the therapist, educator and parent. The 2-day workshop is designed to explore the use of music and Hemi-Sync in creating an auditory environment to enhance learning. Participants will learn how to use different types of music to enhance their current programs with children with developmental disabilities. An emphasis will be placed upon the role of music in the development of feeding, communication and movement skills.
