to Three
ZERO TO THREE is a national, nonprofit organization
located in Washington, D.C., dedicated solely to
advancing the healthy development of babies and young
children. Founded in l977 by top developmental experts,
the organization disseminates key developmental
information, trains proiders, promotes model approaches
and standards of practice and works to increase public
awareness about the significance of the first three years
of life. This is an educational organization geared
toward training parents and professionals to encourage
the physical, emotional, social and cognitive growth of
children ages 0-3.
Neurodevelopmental
Treatment Association
The Neurodevelopmental Treatment Association provides
extensive training courses for therapists and educators
working with children and adults with neuromotor and
neurodevelopmental disabilities. Their web site provides
basic information about the NDT approach to treatment.
The Calendar section lists approved training courses
along with shorter introductory workshops.
Sensory Integration International
Sensory Integration International is a non-profit
corporation concerned with the impact of sensory
integrative problems on people's lives. Their goal is to
improve the quality of life for persons with sensory
processing disorders by promoting education about the
impact of inadequate sensory processing and its
relationship to health. This web site contains
information on certification courses and publications on
sensory integration.

Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine
The American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental
Medicine is a multidisciplinary scientific society
devoted to the study of cerebral palsy and other
childhood onset disabilities, to promoting professional
education for the treatment and management of these
conditions, and to improving the quality of life for
people with these disabilities. In addition to a
description of the Academy and its work, this web site
contains an incredible list of online resources, with
links in every area of interest.
